An update from our CEO about COVID-19

To Our Valued Customers:

In response to the continuing COVID-19 situation, I wanted to outline the measures Liftow is taking to protect our employees and our customers.  Our top priority is to continue to support you and your organization to keep your business moving forward in a safe manner.

We have implemented the following steps:

  • Our Executive Team meets daily to discuss and assess additional risk reducing measures
  • Business travel has been suspended until March 31st
  • Business meetings with external clients and suppliers until March 31st will be conducted via telephone or video, where possible.
  • We have identified employees who have either returned from out of the country in the last week or are currently out of the country and have established a 14-day self-isolation before they return to the office.
  • All locations have worked with their local cleaners to focus on the sanitization of the office and provide items such as tissues, hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes and/or spray for employee use.
  • Provided education to employees around proper hygiene guidelines
  • Closed our offices to non-essential visitors
  • Where possible, we have arranged for specific employees at each of our locations to work from home. This will enable us to reduce the number of people at each of our locations to directly carry out essential customer services. Reduced quantities of our employees at each of our locations, while practicing distance management and personal hygiene protocols, further mitigate the risk of infection.

In addition to the above, I hope that you will be particularly comforted by the fact that our individual service technicians operate very independently out of their service vans, requiring very little personal interaction with our offices, other than to pick up parts. Our style of operating out of multiple small branches, in contrast with a large central operation, further reduces concerns about people's transmission risks.

I assure you that we will remain vigilant in our pursuit of fulfilling your material handling requirements in as safe a manner as possible.

In partnership,

Roger Sutton

President/CEO
