Active control rear stabilizer system

Active mast function controller system

As the other half of Toyota’s SAS, this safety feature uses the same patented technology to detect potential longitudinal instability. Both the Forward Tilt Angle Control and the Rear Tilt Speed Control rely on load and mast height sensors to override the operator’s manual control, both reducing the chances of the truck tipping forward or backward. The system also helps prevent the risk of accidental load spilling that can damage both the products and the operator.

Automatic fork leveling

By simply pushing a button on the tilt lever, your operators can position the forks parallel to the ground, even as the forks are out of view. Starting from a back tilt position, this practical feature offers more operating control and precision by leveling the forks horizontally to the floor when needed. The automatic fork leveling system provides a more efficient load handling and potentially reduces product damage.

Enhanced operator visibility

Toyota’s safe and efficient engineering also includes improved all-round visibility for the operator to help them navigate the hazards of a busy shop or warehouse floor. For example, the latest 8-series offers an optimal orientation of the overhead guard bars and mast hosing to provide enhanced upward and forward visibility, while the newly designed low profile front cowl gives improved fork tip visibility.
